The Proper Deal is a left leaning political blog in the United States. The purpose of this blog is to share resources and provide information to help inform citizens. This blog is not involved in any protests or activism but helps document and build awareness. The Proper Deal is a community resource. This blog seeks a return to the Progressive Era; a time in United States history that brought about major reform in labor, commerce, food processing, and conservation. Many of these reforms were part of The Square Deal of Theodore Roosevelt. The primary objective of this blog is to help United States Citizens get a proper deal from their government officials.
We support the elimination of Rape Culture, Censorship, Fascism, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Anti-Semitism, and any other form of discrimination. We support Women’s Reproductive Rights, Labor Unions, Banning Assault Weapons, Defunding the Police, Universal Healthcare, Term Limits for Congress and the Supreme Court, and Abolishing Political Parties and the Two-Party System.
